Narita Airport Mascot
There is something to be said about the Japanese, they don’t do anything without assigning it an official mascot! At the Eco Products fair last week I came across this budding icon of the the green aviation industry. I can’t imagine there are many less polluting areas of Japan than Narita Airport outside Tokyo, but still, they try talking about CO2 reductions and what not. I like that the mascot is at least wearing goggles and a proper aviatior scarf. Although truth be said, he might be too fat to fit into a cockpit. Wildly popular with the kids, his sidekick was forever waiting in his shadow.
He’s got a homepage too and apparently his name is Kutan.
