September Quick Fashion Check

Posted in People, Places by tokyobling on September 16, 2011

Last night after walking through Shibuya snapping pictures of the bright streets I had time to take a few snaps of snappy people as well! Fashion is in that usual end of summer limbo, when no-one seems to be interested in the summer fashion but it’s way too hot to get started on autumn fashion. I give it a month more before we start seeing the usual autumn fashion items with one or two cool surprises. I took these photos in Shibuya, Omotesando and Harajuku. People who know Tokyo should be able to figure out the exact locations, if not you can always download an image and peek at the GPS information. Enojoy!

Resurgence of ankle height boots? ;)

That resurgence has been ongoing for four-five years! But long boots are ever popular as well, fueled by cheap and quick Chinese imports. It’s a good time to be a shoe shopper! (^-^)

I always appreciate your shots of life in the streets via fashion. I’m in Kumamoto-cool place, a bit like Osaka with the covered shopping streets, and a bit like Nagoya because of the mix of old and new with a great castle on a hill above the main street. Also its super fashionable, and wherever I go I want to take shots of all the girls looking great!
Tonight is more of the upcoming festival teams roaming the streets, exciting!
…thanks, I’ll try to post too

I think Kumamoto prefecture is more noted for the cool nature, cool geology and cool people (I still can’t get the hang of the local dialect though) than the city itself. Would love to spend more time there!
