I think you’re right about the shirt, it looks kind of like the rock climbing wall so it might be a shirt advertising the climbing center.

I’ve been rock climbing two or three times and the way the wall angles out over your head makes it more difficult to climb than just a straight vertical wall. But I really like the way that they don’t have to use harnesses.
