Tokyo Christmas Illuminations
It’s the day before Christmas eve and I thought this would be a good time to share some photos of Tokyo Christams illuminations I have taken over the last month. These are all from Roppongi, showing the all year non-stop christmassy Tokyo Tower, as well as the Christmas tree in front of Tokyo Mid Town and even, although having nothing to do with our modern Christmas, a rather stylish Roppongi church roof top ornament. Here’s hoping that all of us get peace, some love and a lot of rest this Christmas!

Wow that’s beautiful on the streets! even our city here in Vancouver doesn’t go that far
Thanks Andy! When will you be starting your new blog, Vancouverbling? (^-^)
Hey hey! that sounds like a great idea lol! by the way!! merry Christmas!
Amazing! I was in Tokyo for Xmas and New Year four years ago and to be honest it was probably the most Christmassy feeling place I’ve been besides the German markets! It really is a great time to visit Tokyo and I hope to do the same next year. Happy holidays!
Thank you Steve! I totally agree, there are few places on Earth where people get as much into the spirit of Christmas as here in Tokyo! (^-^) Happy Holidays!
I love the lightnings there!
We also have some here, it’s pretty cozy, with the usual white tree of lights!
Thanks Timi! Would love to see your photos some day! (^-^;)
I think the economy was feeling the pinch in decorating this year, not a lot of companies or homes put up decorations.
But I’m glad to have seen it through your eyes. There is something definitely cheerful about these snapshots.
Thank you for the kind comment D! Yes, Christmas was a little bit more austere than usual over here as well!
