Ueno Park Panda Post Box
Ueno has gone panda crazy. I haven’t been there for a couple of months but since I went there last time the panda population has exploded! Every building has a picture of a panda, every menu, every street, every shop, it’s almost like the whole city decided to go all out promoting Ueno as Panda City. By the way, thanks to China of course. I was a little disappointed to walk through Ueno Park yesterday, half of the park was undergoing extensive repairs and closed to the public, but one new thing was already up and running, this wonderful little panda post box, complete with a unique panda stamp! If you’re into philately or just looking for the perfect place to mail your postcards the next time you visit Tokyo, this is the place to go! While I was taking these photos at least six people came up and posted stuff, I guess it must be more famous than I thought.
We have to admit it, even in this era of emails, one would still want to send some postcards with this post box

P-p-p-pandas!!! They’re all so cute. Although you don’t want to have panda eyes, but it’s so cute on a mailbox.

Me too, and I’m trying to keep my coffee consumption down.
…that is something I have given up on, unfortunately! It helps with me low blood sugar so I guess I should be grateful… (^-^;)
I know what you mean about the low blood sugar. But I get a little wired with coffee. I try to carry those fruit snack packs they have for kids. Just incase mine takes a dip.
My blood sugar is fine, my blood pressure on the other hand… (^-^;)
Eeeek…take care of yourself. Take time to relax, high blood pressure is never good.
