Aunren Awaodori – 阿呍連

Posted in Japanese Traditions, People, Places by tokyobling on August 24, 2012

Here’s some more photos of the delightful Aunren at last week’s Shimokitazawa (a very famous district in Tokyo) Awaodori Festival. They were moving too fast for me to get all the shots I wanted but I managed to get a few that wasn’t too blurry. I don’t think I have seen this group too often, but from now on I will keep an eye out for them!

She sure has! I hope she keeps it up – she will be a master of the dance before 20!

Haha… yes! I can imagine you’d have to, to be able to keep the rhythm for hours of dancing! (^-^)
