Asakusa Snapshots

Posted in Animals, People, Places by tokyobling on January 9, 2013

Tokyo quietens down during winter, not so many festivals or show going on so instead I get a chance to post some every day snapshots from Tokyo’s premiere tourist destination, Asakusa. It’s always fun to walk around in this interesting area but my favorite time to visit is in the early evening just before it gets dark, and then to see the temple with its beautiful night lighting. During the day time it can get very crowded!

Thanks Timi! It was very cold, but for some reason a lot of girl here don’t seem to mind it very much! I would probably die within minutes if I wore a skirt like they do in these temperatures…

I just adore the 4th photo down. Just SO Japan!!! I’m making it my desktop so I can view it all day long. :)
