Sumida River Walk
If you ever have free afternoon in Tokyo I recommend taking a long walk along the Sumida river, one of Tokyo’s rivers that I have blogged about many times before. The route is simple and not too long: take a train to Asakusabashi station, on either the JR Sobu line or the Toei Asakusa Line and then walk straight out of the station, following the Sobu line tracks all the way to the river, then just follow the river north and cross it whenever you feel like it until you reach the big black cube building before turning left, crossing the river and arriving at Asakusa station and the famous Sensoji temple! Hopefully you’ll arrive just after dusk, before the shops closes but after the usual massive crowds have left! Here are some photos I took from a few days ago. I’ll post the rest soon, so stay tuned!

On our last day in Tokyo in December, we took a trip on the Himiko (wow wow wow) and I noticed all the runners on this river path!! Broke my heart not to have noticed it before. Next time!!
You’ll be back, I hope! (^-^) At least you got a ride on Himiko!
It was SOOOOOO cool. I felt like a kid. And yes, I’ll be back as soon as I possibly could. I fell totally in love with Tokyo!
