Ninja Crepe

I didn’t know it, but apparently the (rather famous) restaurant chain “Ninja” has recently opened in Kyoto (I know it from their great place in Akasaka-Mitsuke central Tokyo). Not to be content with great food and great service they have started up a crepe stand next to their restaurant, complete with staff dressed up as ninja fighters. The crepe itself is black (naturally), from some rather interesting ingredients. If you’re into the Japanese crepe thing, I really recommend it. I don’t know if there’s any Ninja crepe stands in Tokyo though. Enjoy!

Ninja Snacks

Remember those ads I posted by Japanese snack maker Tohato awhile ago? In Kyoto I found this wonderful piece of snack art at a convenience store: Ninja Crisps! Who can resist this cheesy ninja snack? Def. recommended as a souvenir for those ninja crazy young relatives back home. Sadly, no plastic shuriken included! Just ask for “Fuwamaru”.
