Genius Show Window – Hermès
The other day in Ginza I walked past the Hermès main building and saw this amazingly simple window decoration for their line of scarves. When the woman blows, the scarf billows extremely graciously. I don’t know who designed this window decoration or who the model is but I can count on one hand the times I have seen a shop window as simply beautiful as this. I think I’m in love. To me, this is the epitome of luxury and try as they might, I don’t think any major fashion brand can top this for sheer beauty in this christmas season. Pure genius.
Sorry for the poor images, it was pouring rain outside (see last image), I was on my way to a meeting (running late of course) and the glare…! The glare! D700/20mm prime. I do miss the video on my D90 when I’m out with the D700.
wow that’s pretty unique

Hi Jerome! Isn’t it? I never thought an old company like Hermes would be able to floor me with a window decoration for scarves.
