Tokyo Tower from Tokyo Bay

Posted in Places by tokyobling on January 5, 2015

On my most recent walk across the massive Rainbow Bridge connecting the islands Odaiba with the mainland Tokyo I took these photos of Tokyo Tower (and some ships and boats) just before the sunset. Click the photos for full size and resolution if you want to see more. Winter walks across the bridge can be brutal, as the winds are pretty fierce out over the bay. The bridge also closes quite early during the winter season so it is best to be out in good time.

Beautiful sights. I especially like the shades of the sky, in every photo.

Tokyo Tower still has a special charm especially in your amazing photos. The new comer, tall as it may be, can’t beat this graceful form.

Thank you! I am afraid nothing will quite beat Tokyo Tower, in this case as usual, age wins!
